A sample is a piece designed to showcase a new upcoming design, test materials, or be used at trade shows. These garments are often produced in limited quantities, sometimes in unique sizes, and are not always identical to the final versions sold in stores. Although they may not have passed all stages of commercial production, samples are still quality products.
